Well, having spent much of my time watching from afar, staring at project logs for ideas… drooling over other people’s paint schemes and wicked conversions, I finally decided to take the plunge and be an active member of the community and less of a fly on the wall. I’ve been working on painting and models off and on for many years, and I’ve been a pretty big 40K fan for most of those.

As of late, I don’t play as much as I convert and paint, and I’ve certainly become more of a ‘thematic’ sort of player as time has progressed, preferring a certain aesthetic to pure winning. Naturally, this means I lose a lot, but that doesn’t really bother me.

I have models from all sorts of ranges, and my bits-box is a confusing mess at best, but the only tabletop game I really play is 40K, with the occasional longing glance towards Warmachine or Infinity.

I’m planning on getting a project thread up and running for my next little adventure into the world of building… but that will have to wait until I figure out how to take picture that aren’t terrible.

Here’s to getting involved!

Astra Militarum
Iron Warriors Army: Enyo Company
Enyo (Greek: Ενυώ, English translation: "warlike" in Greek mythology; Roman: Bellona), was an ancient goddess of war, acting as a counterpart and companion to the war god Ares. She is also identified as his sister, and daughter of Zeus and Hera in a role closely resembling that of Eris; with Homer in particular representing the two as the same goddess. As goddess of war, Enyo is responsible for orchestrating the destruction of cities

And a belated thanks to the lot of ya!

I've been getting back into the painting groove and have made an attempt at being a productive member of (dakka) society. So we'll see where that gets me.

I have the two links in my sig that have a few of my more recent things on them. I just got done Hussein Al-Djabel from the Infinity line... and I'm pretty happy with him. Still debating on the hand though.
