heres a list i made real quick since my tourney is tomorow and i still have models to build lol
i left the vamp naked so maybe someone could help me suite him best for my army

Lord = vamp lord 220

heroes = necro +1lvl 110pts
wight king + shield and GW = 95

core= 50 crypt ghouls + ghast =510
10 skellies +30 =80
10 dire wolfs +10 = 90

special= 10 hexwraiths 300
25 gg +30 +50 380

rare= varghulf
5 blood knights
terrorgheist

now i know i pass some limits but ill tinker with it later, how would you suit up the lord? and where would you put the necro and lord

I'd drop the terrorgheist, and pick up 3 lone spirit hosts (135) and spend the remaining 90 on the vamp lord.
Split hex wraiths into 2 units.

Pretty solid.

I'd split the Dire Wolves in groups of two, and drop the Doom Wolf.
It seems you are off on the cost of the Necromancer...
And you would need to increase your skeleton unit. 10 isn't going to do anything. You'd need at least 25. Oh, and having a Full Command in them isn't worth it in small numbers. I only take FC when I have about 40 skeletons in a unit.... And even then I'm tempted to drop the FC and add 5 more skellies instead.
Also, what do you want from your Vamp Lord? Should he run with the Grave Guards? Or the Blood Knights? Or perhaps the Ghoul Horde? Or should he be a caster? Rank-and-file mass-murderer? Hero-killer?
There are a lot of directions to go with a Vamp Lord. Actually, a vamp Lord can be any kind of Lord ever.
So if you tell us what you want your Lord to do, we can help you how.

id like to put him with the blood knights, help him out a little, i guess i'd put the necromancer witht the ghouls, and wight king with the Grave guards, could that make it? id prolly take mannfred the acolyte has general
