All I want is for a few of my ultramarines to look like they have fought in at least one battle before, but apparently Games Workshop has made space marines with bionic arms or legs more rare than hens teeth. Does anybody have any idea where i can get some bionic bits for my marines?

Generally I'd think the bionics would be under the armour. IH like to show off though.

Thats more what I'm looking for, showing the bionics. I'm only willing to spend so much money though buying iron hands box sets though.

Maybe look into getting some non-SM bitz and converting them? Like I'm sure there are some Terminator (The movie with Arnold!) models out there with partially-bionic arms, legs, or faces that you could slap some giant shoulder pads on!

Forge World's "Marine Character Conversion Kit" has a really unique set of bionic legs, a unique bionic head, and quite a few bionic arms in it.

That box set actually has quite a bit in it. From memory its two leg sets, two front-torso, 3-4 bionic arms, 2 bionic arms with bolters, and several heads. It also had the all kickass power armor size thunder hammer. Plus the IH shoulder pads you likly won't need.

Plus the regular tactical squad sprues just to be clear.

Firstly, as bionics is no longer an actual upgrade, there are fewer models for them.

Secondly, most bionics (other than enhanced optics) look terrible. They look like nothing more than modern dumb prosthetics (rather than true cybernetics that they're purported to be), and would get in the way as much as help. This is especially true for bionic legs, that never look like they could possibly be load-bearing enough for the model to stand on. Honestly, I've yet to see a bionic arm or leg that I really liked - they're usually so ugly).

You play Ultramarines and you need marines with bionics? My good sir, these should be your first port of call.

Try the Iron Hands Tac squad. Has bionics and cost just a few.£s/$s more.

I personaly dont like bionics i prefer bare heads to make mine unique I would think wearing a helmet all the time would be bad besides I like to see out of my perifirieals(not sure if thats how you spell it) But hey its your army not mine as to the Q like everyone else has said Iron hands also look at some companies that sell GW similar products i see them everywhere.

get a box of necron warriors. Then just kitbash together with some tacticals.

Can also work with immortals,lychguard,flayed ones and other necron metallic beauty.
