I really want to field an Arachnarok Spider but thanks to my arachnophobia I can't. So, what model would you guys suggest I should get? So far I like the look of the new Ogre Kingdom's Thundertusk/Stonehorn and they even got the same base size, so that's a big plus.

What do you guys think? Any suggestion and advice are welcome.

First off I am arachnaphobic as well but atleast I can actually hold the model so sorry to hear that.

I suggest the stonehorn/ thundertusk model.
Same base size and you have enough room to put a gobo crew on it.
That would be my idea.

One more pricy, but a little more goblin option would be a Squig conversion.
Get the big base (get your LGS to order it for you or something), and get the Mangler Squigs... And a Howdah!
Place the mangler squigs one behind the other, and so that the howdah ends up on both!
IT'LL BE LIKE A SQUIG WAR MAMMOTH!
But rather expensive.

What about a LOTR Mumak?

Yeah I think i'll go with Stonehorn/Thundertusk, but the only problem I have with it is that I can't really explain and/or convince myself how this thing can have the Wall-crawler rule.My first idea was that he would just simply run through the building but then again the building isn't actually destroyed so that's a major flaw. But then again I suppose he could just run around the building or jump over fences.

That sounds pretty darn awesome actually, but as you said - pricy. I'm pretty limited at the moment when it comes to money!

I don't really like the model to be honest. I just don't get the "warhammer feeling" when I look at it.

For 'Wall Crawler' you could put grappling hooks and springs on it- they're gobbos, they do odd things like that.


Or, you could make it a giant slug or snail!

It would take some conversion, but a squiggoth would be pretty cool.
