So I have these 2 lists I just made up and I can't decide between them.

20 gnoblars(trappers) 75 pts

4 Mournfangs (Banner bearer, Bellower, IF, HA, Dragonhide Banner) 350 pts

Rare
Ironblaster 170 pts
Ironblaster 170 pts
3000 pts

BSB and SM go in one Bull unit, Firebelly and Butcher go in the other.

Second list:

Lords
Lvl4 Slaughter Master(Lore of the Great Maw(Crown of Command, Channeling Staff, Armor of Destiny, Ironfist)388 pts
Heroes
BSB (HA, Great weapon, Standard of Discipline) 160 pts
Lvl2 Butcher(Lore of Beasts(Dispell scroll, Sword of Might, Dragonbane gem) 185 pts
Lvl2 Butcher(Lore of Heavens(ironcurse icon) 140 pts
Lvl2 Firebelly (Hellheart, Great Weapon) 214 pts

Core
12 Bulls (Bellower, Banner, Ironfists) 404 pts
12 Bulls (Bellower, Banner, Ironfists) 404 pts
9 Ironguts (Bellower, banner, Dragonhide Banner) 457 pts

Special
Sabretusk 21 pts
Sabretusk 21 pts
Sabretusk 21 pts
Sabretusk 21 pts
Sabretusk 21 pts
Sabretusk 21 pts
4 leadbeltchers (bellower) 182 pts

Rare
Ironblaster 170 pts
Ironblaster 170 pts
3000 pts

This is basically list one where I dropped the Mournfangs and Gnoblars to pick up 3 Sabretusks, lvl2 heaven's butcher, and some Leadbeltchers. And the Ironguts took the Dragonhide banner.

It is heavy on magic so PD might be an issue, but I will have an awsome array of Buffs to choose from. Only thing I don't like is not having any Mournfangs

I have a feeling the 2nd is actually the better list, but I'm not too sure.

List A just seems to be more well rounded, and list B is too many points into magic.

The sheer amounts of cats in the second might cause widespread panic in your list...

maybe, but I can't figure out what to do with that 140 pts. The butcher actually fit in perfectly when I was building it.

I havn't had an issue with the cats causing panic. I make sure to keep them far enough away from each other and my other units. My ogre units stay close enough to the general/BSB to have the rerolls on Ld9.

being single models, the 6" distance is considerably less then it is in other units. Sabre's rarely need to be that close to each other. They move fast enough to take their place if one dies.
