Hey guys,
If you have an ic with a sqaud of long fangs how does the split fire work? Can the ic shoot either target or do they shoot the first one nominated?
Cheers
Dave

Shoot either target, as the LF power allows the unit to split fire

They way I understand it, you may even shoot with the IC at one target and have the whole of the LF squad shoot at another target if you want; then you may go on to assault any of the units you targeted.
The key being they act as one unit.

You have the unit, including the IC declare shooting against a single target, then with the remaining shots you split fire to another target, then resolve shooting at the same time.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't you have to assault the unit the IC shoots at, since that is the declared target?

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Both are incorrect, as Long fangs have Heavy Weapons, they are not allowed to assault anything after firing their Heavy Weapons.

Did not know that. I don't have a SW codex (yet).

If you had Logan attached he could make them Relentless and thus able to assault. That's a pretty common move.
