I see a lot of tactics such as a Commisar Lord with camo cloak or Telion, conferring the stealth USR to their unit who don't have it (or cloaks). Would this trick then not also apply to an IC conferring skilled rider to a bike unit he joins? I can't see why this would apply for stealth but not for skilled rider, as neither rule specifically states it confers or has the asterisk to show its lost by joining a unit.
Anyone got any ideas?

The faq gave the stealth trick. SR doesn't confer, as sad as that makes me.

The text of the Stealth rule applies the benefits of Stealth if a single member of a unit has it. Skilled Rider does not

This is a common misconception. Stealth isn't conferred to the unit. The unit simply benefits from its effect if a single model has stealth.

No, because skilled rider has an effect that applies solely to the model with Skilled Rider, not to the entire unit.

The FAQ merely clarified the existing rules. It didn't actually change anything.
