"The Imperium is nothing if not willing to go to any lengths necessary. So the Trekkies are zipping around at warp speed taking small chucks out of an nigh-on infinite amount of ships, with the Imperium being unable to strike back. feth it, says central command, and detonates every vortex warhead in the fleet, plunging the entire sector into the Warp. Enjoy tentacle-rape, Kirk, we know Sulu will." -Terminus
"This great fortress was a gift to the Blood Ravens from the legendary Imperial Fists. When asked about it Chapter Master Pugh was reported to say: "THEY TOOK WHAT!?""
Every so often this video appears on the froums, and every time I am happy to see it, as it makes explaining our hobby to relatives so much less awkward.

Darnath Lysander: The Man, The Mystery, The Legend
is it just me or is there a few errors in this?
1. horus dropped his shield to allow the emperor to beam aboard as a challenge
2. the emperor killed horus after he slaughtered a human and he saw how far horus had fallen
3. the emperor diddent shoot/stab horus he annhialated him, body and soul via a psychic blast through a kink in his armour which sanguinius created, having his soul obliterated is why he hasent been ressurected as there is nothing left of him
4. the emperor doesnt have 1000 people sacrificed to him a day, 1000 psychers are killed keepin the astronomican running as the strain of amplifying the emperors mind overwhelms them.
correct me if any of these are wrong.

"You have ruled this galaxy for ten thousand years, yet have little of account to show for your efforts. such failure must be as depressing to bear as it is pathetic to behold."
"Your desires are irrelevant. This galaxy once knelt before us, and it will do so again"
Ha-ha, it's a nice tidy fun thing. I'm hurt that Sanguinius' contribution, Emporer would have had his butt kick if he wasn't softened up. His review of Space Marine is good. his visceral reaction to that first combat I can totally identify with.
Old news is old. BUT that doesnt make that video any less awesome! So great!

Ergo, Hope is evil, and you should stop having it, but you can't have despair because then Nurgle gets a free ride. You could be angry about this, but that'd just get Khorne's jollies off. And heck you can't even get your own jollies off without Slaanesh giggling and farting out some daemons. And if you manage to avoid all that, some genestealers might infiltrate your planet and bring a hive fleet crashing down on you any way.

The HH is the basis for the 40k universe, not knowing the HH means you won't understand 40k.

That was retconned away some number of years ago. Poor Ollanius Pius, he doesn't even exist anymore.

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

When people ask, "What's the point in understanding everything?" they've just disqualified themselves from using questions and should disappear in a puff of paradox. But they don't understand and just continue existing, which are also their only two strategies for life.
I'm giving this thread a bump against my good judgement of thread necromancy. But I still think this is cool and if new people haven't seen it, it's a great little video. I was going to just post a new thread, but I would rather give credit to the OP.
