This is a little sneak peek for you guys, it's not going up on Tale of Painters for a couple more days but I couldn't wait to share it. Inspired by the whole Warhammer 40,000 is 25 years old I felt the need to paint an old model. I love old models.

Before anyone asks for tutorials, the Axe head tutorial is written and will be on the blog on Friday.

Man, what a cool old model! It's great to see all the nostalgia and such that's coming along with the anniversary. Your work as always is incredible. Thanks for sharing.

Have to say I prefer the new model but both are painted really well.

I absolutely love that comparison shot. Now, I am supportive of the old look however I do believe that this hobby has come a long way. Looking at the old terminator next to the new really supports my idea that much of the casting done today is just freakin' awesome (however there are quite a few derpy models.)

Not to bash your old model in the slightest (it is very well done) but that new Space Hulk Librarian is such a BAMF! Well done, sir
