I just received the Ultramarines movie. I personally thought it was pretty good. It was more than I was expecting. Are they (GW) working on a new movie?

There was a rumor about Space Wolves movie next, but nothing was confirmed so far.
I know only one thing: they earned money from "Ultramarines" and they said if they earned enough they will make another one.
Until that happened we have our beloved "Lord Inquisitor".

The Emperor doesn't have a GKs unshakable faith in the Emperor which is....basically himself?

The movie is awsome but the only problem I haave is that GW actualy is now endorsing it!!! I liked that it was a homebrew movie.
In white dwarf 376( I think that is the one) they actualy mention it as an advertisment. The hardcore 40K fans will understand what is going on in the very first ten minutes of the movie.

TOO MUCH CHAOS!!!

I'd rather see another space Marine game than another movie; I enjoyed the video game much more.

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?

Any space marine movie that doesn't feature the blue marines is fine by me. It was a decent movie, I had the pleasure of watching it on my projector with friends.

It doesn't cost as much as people think to put together a decent CGI movie, all you need is animators and a few voice actors. With some blue screen movement capturing devices, it's greatly speeded up.

I don't think you need to be a hardcore fan to realize what's happening ten minutes in; the whole movie telegraphs everything pretty easily.

Ultramarines are fine, you can do plenty with characters regardless of what color of paint is on their armor. How much do you know about computer animation though? I'm an animator and that gak's expensive. Also mocap hardware and software is obscenely expensive. Yes, CGI is cheaper in most cases than building suits of actual armor and sets and the like, but it's by no stretch cheap.

Amen. The game was actually good (not great) while the movie, while not as bad as many Internet whiners say, wasn't very good.

You should totally do that! It's an amazing game, and I never expected anything less from Relic Entertainment!

Lord Inquisitor is the next movie on the way.

It actually got GWs sanction http://www.ogrestronghold.com/forum/index.php?topic=23138.0 (about midway down the page)

This looks like it will be the first fanmade movie to actually make it.

He now plans on making it longer then originally intended because he now has GW and BL support.

Literally drove up to Wal-Mart at 10pm to get Space Marine for 360! (there is a snow storm here and the nearest 24 hour Wal-Mart is 25 minutes away in good weather.) Fandom!

Y'know, hearing that Lord Inquisitor finally got some official backing is great news. Props to the little guy.

As for SM? It's brutally fun. Multiplayer takes some getting used to (I usually don't do vs, I'm more of a co-op guy). But you should have some fun romping around slaying Orks.

The SM game is pretty awesome. The multilayer is so, so but I didn't buy it for that. I was was very disheartened when I found a 15% off code though on the inside of the booklet for the SM movie... Then when I was lvl 4 in multilayer I was flipping through the booklet again and found a free code that instantly pushes you to level 5...*sigh.* Terrible luck I have. Thus why I favor Space Marines. <3

I'm not a huge SM fan, though i do have a small BT army.

I expected the Space Marine game to be a bit unfair to the Orks, in a Black Library kind of way, and as an Ork player i was expecting to hear the usual 'orks are lousy.. one SM can take thousands of them alone...' stuff that always seems to come up :(

Instead i got "Man, those Nobz are HARDCORE!!! "

I liked the game, and the fsact that they actually payed attention to the Orks as more than cardboard cutouts...
