Hello again.

I've been meaning to upload pictures of my second completed Contemptor for my Thousand Sons. After feedback from people on the first, I've gone further with the freehand. Appologies for the slight blur, still trying to understand my camera A semi-detailed account of its progress/painting/extra images can be found here. http://rock-geek-journo.blogspot.com/2012/02/showcase-chaos-contemptor-numero-dos.html.

I think you were right to go with more freehand it looks really good. I actually really like the light blue color on the model as well. Good Job!

It looks cool. I think. The pictures are small and blurry, consider taking larger more clear ones.

Yeah they are a bit blurry. You'd think after how long I've had the camera I would have got to grips with it by now . Might have to wait till Thursday though, the Contemptor is back at home, and me and my camera are at student halls :/ Hope you won't mind the wait

The freehand is great. A bit more Conversion towards Tzeentch/Chaos/Thousand Son woukd have been good.

Conversion beamer... I am also think with weapon would be best on a Thousand Sons Contemptor.

Thanks for the comments I intentionally avoided adding too much, as I didn't want to fall into the 'marines with spikes' imagery. I loved the idea of having a conversion beamer, and the rules are pretty nifty...I'm a sucker for obscure and unusual arcane technology

Yeah, I think I go for the Conversion Beamer too.

I dont meant spikes, but perhaps a typical Sons Helmet topping or a Tzeentch Symbol. Perhaps some Horrors crawling on the base, I dont know it myself....

Would have loved to do the helmet in this scale, but There isn't a massive amount of room for it, and I don't think my sculpting skills would be enough to do it justice There are a couple of Tzeentch symbols on the chest, but my current pictures don't show this well. Come back Thursday and I should have better imagery

The first contemptor needs some yellow on his belly now also, I think it would really improve it as it looks so bare, compared to the second one anyway!

You have a good point. I might go back to that one so it matches the level of detail

They look really good. The other issue i have is the yellow on the blue. Maybe a out line would help that, But that is just me. Other than that, they look great. I like the second one better though. Something about the more free hand adds to the model by alot. Great job.
