Tactical squads and assault termies without transportation is just a bit silly. Double flamer 'back getting close enough is hard. Command squad is so many points.
Just make the usual Vulkan list. It is fluffy and vaguely competitive at 1500 pts.
Vulkan
5 TH/SS +raider redeemer +MM+EA
3 rhinos with combimelta, melta, MM, fist, maybe one of them with sternguard with 2 meltas and 2 combiflamers and fist
Then 3 HF/MM landspeeder
Stuff like that.

Or load up on Dreadnoughts with HF for 115 points.....both the MM and HF like the 'speeders.
I was really surprised to see Vulkan absent. Played properly, it's vaguely to semi-competitive, as MFletch stated. Some people like fielding the SS/Termie libby for 140 points. I feel that Vulkan brings more to the table for a few more points.

Vulkan only costs a bit more and would really buff up your army.
