OK so here it is! The first battle report for the forces of chaos I possess. I think it's important to share these games to see what my force can actually do.

For ease I am calling the players as so:

So K asked for a game and me and J provided. K's girlfriend B was intrigued so we let her play as K's

So it came to about 4000pts aside, we weren't really to fussed on the borders.
We rolled and got D3+2 objectives (ended up with 4) and standard set-up. I won the roll and elected me and J to go first.
Deployment
This was mine and J's set-up, we had the boyz sit in the gaps between the armour and hope that the larger tanks would get attacked first. (Sorry for the angle, thought it might right itself) I had mainly the right flank and the centre was occupied by my
LR's. The ork armour sat on the left raring to blow things up!
The Tau and
SW line. They didn't present us with a lot despite most of the forces being on the board. The units above the dice at the top were in reserve on the
LR or the Stormraven. Tau
FW's hid in buildings and the long fangs took the central barricade w/ their
RB.
K tried to steal the intiative and failed so we began the assault!
Ork & Chaos Turn 1
Kalthar, Warlord of the Fallen Warband 'Trythius' looked across the ruins of what used to Hilraga, a small city that his warband a fortnight previous had wiped from the face of this pathetic world, there were no warriors to be found to join his cause. It was a pointless existence he deemed so rearranged the situation to what he felt was right. But it seemed that there were those that disagreed. A Kilometre to his North-West a Imperium strike force accompanied by a Xenos Expendition had arrived and seemed to be following his forces. 'Let them come' he thought, ' I have ten thousand years warfare under my belt, some farfetched empire and the diluted remnants of the Great Wolf will not stop me from achieving what I wish. Besides all those moronic Greenskins want is bloodshed, so here is their payment and my method of disposal..............'
Me and J proceeded to move up the entire battle line. We have put our objectives half way across the board due to our forces combat skills and the tau's lack of. Shooting was pathetic to say the least. I hit with everything except the thudd gun but then failed to penetrate or kill a single thing......J was even worse! His boomguns couldn't even hit the mark! After that there wasn't a lot left to do but laugh!
Tau & Space Wolves Turn 1
Logan roared with laughter as his stormraven rocked violently but stayed firm in it's course to the battle field. 'So his brethren couldn't keep their own traitors at bay? All the better, they aren't great shots so my axe will reach their ranks and scatter the jaded souls'. The Tau had for now decided that more pressing matters than fighting the Wolves were at hand and the thought of a demon world right on the edge of their empire was not something they would enjoy very much. A alliance as such had been formed and would try to co-ordinate. Despite his hatred for the lesser race he couldn't help but admire their technology and knew their heavy weapons would be key to slowing the heaviest armoured threats'.
B drops Bjorn the fell handed drops in right next to my defiler. Everything else sits back and doesn't move.
Bjorn arrives and is ready to crush the scum under his heavy heels......
K proceeds to lather the Looted Wagons with markerlights and the lefthand group of nobs. K's fancy Shaso kills a nob after lathering them and the Looted Wagons in the mass of markerlights he has. B's
LR whiffs shooting my
LR achilles but the
LF's hit home with their
LC's and destroy the
TFC. Seeker Missles from the Hammerhead destroy a Looted Wagon Boomgun. The XV-88 2's kill a second Looted Wagon. The pathfinders kill a slugga boy and all the
FW's whiff.
In Assault Bjorn rolls a 1 from his lucius drop pod meaning he can't assault but uses his one reroll of the game to get a 5 to proceed into the defiler. My defiler destroys the
DCCW but he kills the defiler in return.
No more Defiler.
Chaos & Orks Turn 2
'So even the legendary Bjorn himself has come to stop the mechanisms of scheme, they know more than I thought.........' as Kalthar looked back to see the demon engine Ra'ishak go up in flames. 'Then it is a fair fight, I am not the only true heir of the gene seed'. While he despised the emperors dogs he respected those with reputation and not many alive had the same as Bjorn's. He even for a slight wished he would come to blows with him during the battle but put aside his lust for glory and concentrated on ochestrating his forces. The orks were dying nicely on the left. He gave a rare ,silent thanks to his enemies..........'
Despite the withering fire we continued up the board towards the front line. The
CSM's on the right disembarked from their Rhino and so did the Renegades in the Chimera next to them. J had called a waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaghhhhhh! so everyone of his orks launched themselves forward. However his dread headed straight for Bjorn looking for a 'Wurvey Fight'.
In the shooting phase. The melta's from my renegades and the small
CSM combat squad following fired into Bjorn destroying his Assault Cannon and immobilizing him. The
CSM's that disembarked and shot the nearest
FW's and only killed 3, some good rolling from K. All of J's ork's fleet meaning nearly everything is in combat range. The chimera whiffs at the Stormraven.
Assault proved to be more fruitful as everything the orks touched died. The Mek w/ nobs wiped the
FW's to a man and the Ethereal but they held with a roll of double 1 (K does it again). His boyz on the far left wipe the pathfinders too but the devilfish flechette blaster kills a good 6 or 7 lads and survives. The Dread however whiffs and bjorn rips of an arm (must have been with his teeth!)

Tau & Space Wolves Turn 2
The Tau line had buckled badly thought Logan, but knew the long fangs stationed with them would hold until they needed to. His stormraven had arrived at the DZ, the toxins in his blood began to mix and he felt a his battle fury building to a head. 'Listen up! We are about to smite our most ancient foe from the face of this forsaken land and clean up the mess that our brothers made all those years ago, do not underestimate them as they are of a time before even we were born but we are the wolves of Fenris, the Allfathers finest fighting force and The Great Wolfs pride! FOR RUSS, FOR THE ALLFATHER!'. The stormraven hadn't touched down yet but Logan had already hit the floor and was feet from his first prey.....
In their movement the wolven counterattack begins. The stormraven races forward and drops Logan and his termies inbetween my
CSM's & J's Right hand nob squad. K's XV-88 2's reposition themselves from the ork threat and the XV-15 stealth suits drop behind my possessed. The
SW LR moves up and disgorges 5 more termies and a Wolf Priest. The lone Piranha outflanks behind the Looted Wagons. Everything else stands it's ground.
The wolves launch the offensive!
Not fancying a hand to hand tussle the XV-88 2's fall back.
In shooting the
FW's on my right shoot the
CSM's no surrounded by wolves and kill none. The XV-88's kill the boyz on the far left to a man who promptly legs it. The wolf priest termies shoot and kill four
CSM's. The stormraven shoots the chimera and wrecks it. The
LF's shoot both of my
LR's, taking a
MM off the Achilles and immobilizing it while the other is stunned but is ignored due to possession.
AWESOME MOMENT ONE
It is now combat and Bjorn and the Dread slug at each other again. The Dread manages to shake Bjorn (J's epic fail dice) while Bjorn in return with no arms and immobilized kills the dread outright which explodes and takes with it a
CSM and 7 or 8 boyz! A round of laughter ensued as we pictured Bjorn headbutting the dread to death

As for the rest of combat the nobz with Mek finish the Tau and the Ethereal but all squads pass their morale. Logan dispatches the second squad of nobs with ease and the wolf priest and his wolf guard also keep it clean destroying the remaining Khornate Marines.
True to form the nobz prove their worth and splatter the Tau leader across the ruins.
Logan and Co. leave no trace of the Khornate heretics....
At this point me and J were really taking some heavy losses and we couldn't afford many more terrible dice rolls however objective wise we were drawing at 1-1 so all was not lost yet.
Chaos & Tau Turn 3
The balance of the battle had shifted violently and it was not the way that would favour Kalthar immediately. Though it was definitely not bad for Kalthar either. The Orks were hurling themselves mindlessly at the enemy and the Tau were falling back and succumbing to anything that came within 100 yards. The wolves however were stubborn, the wolves were fighting back and the wolves were winning. But this didn't matter to the Fallen Lord, he would simply hurl the forth most units at his enemies and withdraw with what is most valuable to him. His Land Raider jolted sharply and the lights went out quickly replaced by a soft red glow, things had just got a little more interesting..........'
Unfortunately this would be our last turn and a lot of units would be wiped from the board so there was some compensation.
My mobile
LR carrying the Khorne Berzerkers lurched forward and deposited them infront of the tau commander shas'o r'alai and his battle suit squad. The nobs with Mek hunkered down in the ruins knowing the objectives were out of reach. The
IW CSM's moved towards the immobile Bjorn as did the renegades to maximize their effectiveness. Nothing else really moved except the dead Khorne
CSM's Rhino and this means it's time for:
AWESOME MOMENT TWO!
Now this here soon-to-be-renovated chaos rhino doesn't look so scary does it? Well actually you're wrong, it is apparentely. I go to ram the
SW LR with it and have to tank shock the melta bomb wielding wolf guard termies first. The signs weren't good as he caused a penetrating hit but he managed to roll a 3, weapon destroyed........that's a very dead terminator! So then my the rhino carries straight on into the
LR and I have
Str 9 (tank+AV11+10"ram) and the
LR a Str10. The impact causes my little rhino to go kaboom and almost takes another terminator with it but what no-one was expecting was for me to roll a 6 to penetrate the
LR and then a 5 to wreck it........... there is a very odd silence and then everyone bursts out laughing. The result:
K rang me today and still couldn't comprehend those happenings
We had nothing to shoot, literally nothing but the tech priest got my
LR achilles moving again so that was cool and the renegade guardsmen finally felled Bjorn which I almost felt bad for doing
Renegade comes out on top!
In assault however we finally caused some serious damage. The Mek with Nobz and my Chaos Lord Assaulted the Long Fangs and tore them limb from limb. The Khorne Berzerkers assaulted the Shas'o and fellow suits. I elected not strike the shas'o and go for a kill point with the XV8 squad which I also wiped (42 attacks are not to be sniffed at!) The possessed skulking at the back doubled back and attacked the XV-15 stealth suits and butchered them.

Tau & Space Wolves Turn 3
[i]Logan hauled his axe out of the body of the stinking Xenos and turned in time to see the battle suits fall to the wrath of the World Eaters. He would deal with them in time when they have either killed all the tau, destroyed themselves on the Tau or both. The Tau had taken significant casualties and would no longer be able to hold their position, the orks were almost gone to a man, the leader and his retinue all that's left in the main fight and the Chaos forces seemed to be withdrawing with exception to the crazed berzerkers. Then something crossed his mind, the Tau and Orks would be done in this fight yet the Chaos had strength and withdrew...........it all became so clear...........
Logan and co. Jumped back into the stormraven and turbo boosted to the nearest unclaimed objective. The wolf priest and his termies moved towards the berzerkers to try and quell them. What was left of the Tau barely moved except for the Shas'o who fell back.
Shooting this turn for the 'Good' forces was very effective, a combined effort from the terminators, the shas'o and the XV-88 2's killed the big world eater squad without breaking a sweat. The piranha blew up the last Looted Wagon and the Lucius Pattern Drop Pod got a direct hit on the shoota boyz at the back and killed half a dozen.
At this point we called it time and decided that we all had to sleep for work the next day bearing in mind we had to pack this all up too
THE RESULT
The final result in the end was 2-2 objectives wise as Bjorn counted as one due to his death and I had claimed him with the renegades.
The match was a lot of fun and the first I have played in a few months now due to work and college.
Man of the match: Bjorn for his amazing resistance to death, he did more than his fair share of the killing and with arms!
Moral Victory: The Rhino - Need I say more?
It seems more like highlights I think but I hope you enjoyed reading it. I will try to make the future ones more detailed but a battle of this scale is very hard to keep a handle on!
Updates wise I soon will have new pictures up of the finished
IW's, the achilles, the chimera and the possessed
