As an arachnophobic I can say for certain tht this is one scary looking spider!!!!!

That is one fantastic spider! Love the colors and the color transitions look extremely organic. Great goblins as well.

I check your guys blog every now and then. But nice to see this thing finished, looks brilliant.

Great job. This must have taken forever. I bet you're glad to be done, and let me tell you, all your hard work was totally worth it!

Cheers! It took around a month to complete... but that does feel like forever.

Superb work. And one of the most 'realistic' spiders I've seen for an arachnarok. (Can I use the word realistic in this context?!?)

One thing I did notice, and this is so minor it's barely worth mentioning, but the spiderlings are all black whereas the larger spider is suitably coloured. Being a bit of an arachnophile myself it just jars slightly as most spiderlings will have an approximate colouring of their adult form, but then a few species don't. It's personal taste, so please feel free to ignore me! Love the spider though and have just eagerly read your lovely WIP notes. Thanks for sharing.

I thought going for the how dah leaves me a cool shaman model I can glue to a small square base and paint up separately. Bit more bang for your buck.

Urrrk! If I brought that into my house it'd freak my wife out and she'd step on it and squish it! Horrifying, in an amazingly painted way. The mandibles are stunning! WOW!
