Okay so the Grey Knights have Force Weapons that when activated cause instint death, this is because they fight the worst of the worst - Daemons. BUTTTT daemons have eternal warrior completly canceling out the whole force weapon ablitity, so why even give the grey knights force weapons to begin with? I mean if their not using them it's just makeing them cost more points.

Well, his name is Inquisitor "Troll."
I think that might sum this thread up nicely.

ya, they are. but i'm plying thie campaing with them right now, and my advance kinda got stoped by nids. The only problem is that i can sit their and pound them but they just spawn more, and their are so many. They've over run my trenches twice now, had to pull back once, fought them off thre secound time tho.

Maybe you should read all the rules for Nemesis Force Weapons. Specifically "Daemonbane".

In before Lock but I read through the force weapons in the grey knights book and was confused about that. Do all of the weapons even have that or just a few of the ones that are listed?

Never mind I just reread the page about them. Dang Grey knights vs grey knights would be messy.

it says that the weapons have to be listed as haveing it, but i'm told that they all do have it. but i was reading the damon codex and under the daemon SR it makes them all Fearless so DB would still have no effect.

"Daemonbane: Any Daemon or psyker that suffers one or more unsaved wound from Nemesis force weapons must take a leadership test at the end of the Assault phase. If the test is passed, nothing happens. If the test is failed, the model is removed as a casualty. this ability applies regardless of whether or not the Nemesis force weapons have been successfully activated." GK codex page 54 5th edition

I already answered your query in the other thread.

Leadership tests =/= morale tests.

Ergo, fearless units are not exempt from this rule.

Daemonbane is annoying, but is honesty utterly tame compared to the pure dickery that is Warp Quake...

30 models, using the full 2" coherency rule can completely lock-off a 6'x4' table. Yep, there's game balance at it's finest right there!

I've noticed wrp quake is pretty dicky, and with a grand master giving them re-roll failed to hit rolles of 1, plus prefered enemy daemon, and Daemonbane in CC, Deep striking to close not a good idea

Daemonbane is probably the least irritating gk ability. Since daemons are near exclusively ld10 with invulnerables all round Ive never really been bothered by it. Although any multi wound models i use have normally been riddled with psycannons before reaching combat, maybe why i dont notice it much.

Well, it's a pretty damn moronic & stupidly broken power now isn't it?
Plus, I've been on the reciving end of it, being forced to deploy within small 6"- 8" bubbles (if I'm lucky!) too many times to count, so I have a special hate for that power. No game should ever come down to 'did you win the roll for 1st turn?' However, against most of the local GK armies who run at least 10-15 warp quake capable models, my Daemons chances of even hitting the table are about equal to the Maple Leafs chances of making the play-offs!

Daemonbane when our entire army is Ld10 is mildly irritating at best. Honestly, I've lost more models to Truesilver Armour than I have to Daemonbane! Watching my Prince survive 2 turns of a psyfleman taking pot shots at him, then rip the silly dread apart only to explode from 4 automatic S6 hits sucked... Seriously? 1 auto-hit per hit I land?! Again, just smacks of GK's having to one-up everyone elses similar upgrades.
