Hi everyone. For a while I have been doing my Grey knight bases the traditional sand and grass, but after going to GW for a while and seeing everyone else have that i want to do something more unique to the army. The only problem is that i don't want to draw attintion away from the grey knights, but i want the bases to add to the story that theis guys are totally awsome. any ideas?

That's a great idea, now if i put something on the base like a ruined floor section from GW ruined building sets would the magnet still be stong enough to hold it through all that plastic or would i have to make a small insert for it?
Also were would you buy magnets small enough for this job?

That is a good idea about geting a larger magnet for the base.

That is a great looking base idea. If you don't mind me asking how do you plan to make the symbol in the rocks?

i have no idea how to do that. sounds smart tho. I was thinking about getting clear plastic bases etching the grey knight symbol, in it putinf some sound and rocks around it, and put a small led red light under the base so it glows up on the figure

i have to get a link to post it but i found some magnets that are for flyers that are specialy made so that one hovers over the other.
