Has anyone picked up / had a close look at any of the Grotesque models?

So far I haven't seen an actual Grot model, being it's order-only and not in stores. They didn't even have any at GDUK :( (or if they did, they were gone by the time I got there.)

So while I'm dubious to pick up a Finecast Model, I want to convert a Grotesque into a Tau HQ based off the 'cultural exchange' in the DE Codex, which means getting a proper grotesque rather than just the ones I've converted for my own armies, but I'd like to know how much hassle I can expect from this one.

I've ordered a couple of dozen, and not had a return on any of them, or a complaint. Possibly people asked for a replacement from mailorder instead of from me, but no ones had a problem with the ones I've gotten in. I'd say you are probably ok doing it, and if you get a bad one, just call up and have you ship a new one.

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.

Yeah, I know I can always just get another in, but being it'll take me a week+ to get it initially and wanted to know how likely it would be I'd need to wait another week+ on top of that afterwards.

But that's good to know - I'll go order one in the week.

I've got a couple of units worth, all good, nothing worse than some minor bubbling which was filled with superglue, and is invisible now the undercoat is on.

If the thought of something makes me giggle for longer than 15 seconds, I am to assume that I am not allowed to do it.

I currently have 12 grotesques I converted out of dryads, and am about to do 12 more. (visible in the p&m blog in my sig.)

BUT as I said in my original post this is going to be for a unique tau special character.

Commander Mourning sorrow is basically one of the original 'prototype' Grotesques made from the 'cultural exchange'. A hit during the battle knocked him to his senses as it were. Following that he made his way back to his fellow tau, spoke to them bla bla, he hates the dark eldsr, and the tau basically took pity on him and gave him some custom equipment, ended up surviving to become a shas'o and hunts DE.

He has his own special rules that's basically a grot with a shield gen, plasma rifle and drone controller OR a counts-as shas'el / shas'o.

Being it's going to be a unique model, the monopose doesn't matter and I rather wanted it to be a 'proper' grotesque.
