Subject: First foray into greenstuff!! Attempting to true scale
This is my first real attempt at any serious greenstuff work... Also my first attempt at true scaling up!
Need crit and ways to improve! As a novice to GS how do I best smooth it out? At the mo I'm using a watered tile and watered tools... And its a nightmare!!
Do you have clay shapers? When they are wet nothing will stick to them.
Also when I'm working on something that need to be non sticky (like hair) I use sunflower oil.
Anyway that looks quite nice and I would now use liquig gs to smooth out the chest and legs.
1. thick coat of liquid gs (30/70 water/gs ratio)
2. file extra gs away
3. thin coat of liquid gs (50/50)
It also seems that you sculpted the chest in one go. I would have first made a crude base and then putted the final layer.
Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.
If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in.
