So I did a little rewrite sans Dragon and took a Pegasus, which made room for a lv4 as well. I always put some sort of ward on my lv4's so that stays. Spearmen needed shields to meet min core req. I wish I had more room for more shades.
C&C always welcome.
Dreadlord, Dark Pegasus, Sword of Might, Enchanted Shield, Heavy Armor, SDC, Pendant of Khaeleth, Crown of Command 302
Supreme Sorceress, lv4, Lore of Shadow, Sacrificial Dagger , Talisman of Endurance 315

Sorceress, lv2, Lore of Fire, Dispel Scroll 160
CORE:
25 Spearmen, Shields, Command 165(to meet min core shields are needed)
20 RXB's, Shields, Musician, Standard 235

On the Dreadlord, taking the Dragonhelm and an ordinary shield works out being 2pts cheaper, gives you the same armour save and you also get a 2++ vs flaming, which mainly helps vs Lore of Metal.
I'm not really sold on the ward save on the level 4, I don't think it'll help enough. Lifetaker on her would be great.
With the Black Guard, a champion is only really worth taking if he'll have a magic item- otherwise, I think he just doesn't add enough to be worthwhile.
If you're only running 10 shades, I'd split them into 2 units- double the flexibility, twice as hard to pin down and you can always shoot them both at the same target. You do lose out on a bit of combat power, but I think the more flexible approach is better.

I'm kinda a fan of units of 10 for ranged units instead of units of twenty. I makes them easier to fit in a battle line as well as simply more units and more drops during deployment. I admit it makes them a little more vulnerable, but I find that the benefits far outweigh that risk.

Repeater Crossbowmen aren't a shooting unit, they are a close combat block with a strong secondary shooting function. Remember, they have EXACTLY the same statline as Corsairs and Spearmen. What they loose in extra attacks they make up for in durability - 5+/6++ is as tough as DE infantry gets!
I've won many a game by getting an enemy unit to charge my RXBs thinking they were just shooters... only to find out too late they can hold their own just fine in CC.

QFT.
Outside of not getting a magic banner, Repeaters do just fine blocks up. I like to run a good sized unit (24) out on a flank shooting, then swift reform as the enemy closes in. 3 ranks and standard holds off a lot of opponents pretty well. Then again, I also love lore of metal; making my crossbowmen get 3+/6++ saves.

Unkillable peg lord is a crutch no one appreciates. Your friends will shy away from playing you, people will hit your soft scores at tournaments and worst of all it doesnt even really win games for you for the most part.
Lose-lose in my opinion.
