Anyone know where I can find suitable heads with boonie covers for my vet squads? The bulk of my force is made of regular Cadians, but I want my vet squads to have a Special Ops/Stealthy look, and I'd like to go with boonies for them.

For those of you who don't know what a boonie cover is, it's the floppy hat you see Marines and Soldiers wearing from time to time. They're wearing them in the picture at the top of this page: http://www.marineforcerecontraining.com/

What you mean a beret? xD. The catachan command squad includes one. You can go on bits sites or trade with others to get more. if you want more variation, you can sculpt on beards and stuff.

Our own SAS tend to wear them.

The Empress moderns have separate heads but I don't know if the heads are available separately from the figures.

GS them. It is REALLY easy. I gave my IG snipers Boonie hats before I put Ghillie suits on them.

Make a disc and push it onto the guys head to form the brim, allow it to set then sculpt the head of the hat. Trim and file the brim to size.

Go to ebay and type in minature heads. Or just google search maximini. I found m16s ak47s, back-packs, and the heads you are looking for. they are ok, the size might be a little off, but i haven't messed with them to much.
