I agree, these could easily be on the box on in the catalog. Expertly painted, love the scroll on the back of the one, I can never get that to ook good, so kudos to you for pulling it off!

Cheers doing the scroll was pretty simple, you just have to draw it on creating basic shapes, then filling them in

Sharp painting, solid job! I'd be happy if I'd commissioned them. One bit of crit I would offer is the black wash has pooled a bit on the flat surfaces (end of melta and missile launcher for example). I find it's a god idea to keep moving the wash around with your brush until you're sure the pigment has run into the recesses. Applying in two or three thin coats helps. But yeah, nitpicking. Great work

Looks good. Just be careful with washes (the wash really shouldn't be the final step when painting metallics, but it can work sometimes though). Some of the highlights are a bit inconsistent. Some of the lines look masterfully executed, and then on another part of the same model, the lines look a little blotchy and runny. The lenses and text on the seals and stuff looks great.

How did you get so many lines of squiggly text on the scroll, though? You get more mileage out of those than I do.

Cheers guys! Obviously these are just tabletop models so some shortcuts were put into play here. I was only paid enough for 2 days worth of work so this is reflected on the models somewhat...

Squiggly text on the scrolls was just done by by using a 000 size brush by drawing lines whilst increasing and decreasing pressure, in order to create the illusion of text

The highlighting detail is quality work. nicely done.
