I run a gunline guard army with a couple LRBT's thrown in. I have one chimera and Vet team so they are really just a wildcard in my army, I also have a gunnery Srg Harker model I made a while back. Is he worth including? Am I wasting points using him with just one vet squad in my army ? Should I remodel him into a Srg Bastonne for the ability to give the vet squad orders and high leadership ? Or just roll with a basic srg.
The squad is standard meta fit vets, 3x melta guns. Dedicated Chimera transport

Harker is hardcore! I run him with 3 snipers and an autocannon. Harker gives his squad stealth, infiltrate and move through cover, this allows you to put him pretty much anyone and in cover! He's like a tick to get out of cover too! Yeah, he's totally worth it!

I was thinking about putting him with 3 snipers and a ml. But wasn't sure how long he'd last sitting on a capture point or hanging onto a flank.
Do you give them a vox ?

From what I've seen, he's pretty nice.

I have used Harker on many occasions. His ability to infiltrate comes in handy too. Usually the other guy starts worrying about him long enough for me to get some more heavy fire power into range.

I like running him. He gives you an option most people are not realy ready for when playing against IG. When ever I have run him, I use 3 plasma guns, missile launcher, and everyone else with lasguns. If I have 30 points left to spend, I do like giving them the demo doctrine to realy be a nasty surprise to units who cant quite get to me.

I like throwing him in with my mech-vet list and having him outflank with 3 plasma guns and a demo charge. They will either come in guns blazing and annihilate a unit caught in the open or all the plasma guns will overheat and the demo guy throws the charge back on himself. Both results are always awesome.
