I bought my girlfriend some genestealers for her birthday, and after examining the sprue we noticed some pieces on 2 of the four sprues that almost ressemble geysers.
Do these serve any purpose? The only thing I could think of was perhaps placing them on a ripper swarm base, as the box only includes two rippers, hardly what I would call a swarm.

I think they're meant for objective markers.

Tau stealth suits and SM terminators both come with something similar.

They were markers for scenarios in the previous starter box.

Something like spawn points for the gribblies.

Most people use them for objective markers these days (if they use them at all).

Mine sit forgotten and unused in a bits box.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
