Here are some rules for a "Unique" chaplain and his "Flock." It is really fluffy. I used the always helpful "Chapter creator" by Marik Law (http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/384339.page)

The Blind Chaplain
__He was once known as Brother Penita, but is no longer. He joined early in his first century, and quickly rose through the ranks. Eventually, he joined the chaplains, bound to an eternity of safeguarding the Northern Hammer's tenets and battle brothers. He was, however, too lax on the rites of redemtion. He felt that ALL space marines, not only his own, are worthy of redemption. During battle, especially against Chaos space marines, he would always first extend a hand of redemption to the enemy, willing to allow lost sheep to return to the day. He could often get a few marines who were willing to return to the emperor's side, but during one fateful day, he got a “black sheep.”
__His name was Ingloran. He had been a warrior in the service of Korne, but allowed himself to be taken back to the light. Once he had everyone's trust, he betrayed them by slashing his chainsword at Penita's face. He hit his mark, slashing penetia's eyes, but he did not cleave the head in two. He was quickly dispatched by his former chaos comrade, Salvat, who killed Ingloran by removing his head with a well placed plasma pistol shot.
__Penita quickly recovered, but his eyes were destroyed beyond repair. He left active duty to stay at the Reclusiam, praying to the emperor for guidance. Four decades passed, and then the emperor spoke. Penita was to be “The Blind Chaplain,” one who learned from his mistake. He could then see the warp's effect on all the things around him. He removed his visage of death, placed a blindfold over his eyes, and encased his welcoming hand in a fist of steel, never again to spread compassion.
__He left the Reclusiam without a word, took a thunderhawk, and flew to the front lines. He requested the location of a certain marine, and without answering any questions, he gained the location. He landed in the middle of the fray, and ignored all those around him, save the marine he sought. It seemed as if none could touch him, he was a ghost flitting through the battle. He stepped up to a marine, who's aura was the purest, and said “Brother Salvat. You saved my life, and I am returning to service. You shall fight by my side, and we shall teach those who dare challenge us. We shall teach them that my merciful embrace has become a pityless fist of cold adamantine.”
__And they still fight, destined to fight the eternal war against the impure.

Brother Salvat
__Brother Salvat was a chaos space marine in service of korne. The dark gods formulated a plan to defeat the “Brother-theif.” There were two marines from each patron involved. The thousand son's marines would lay wards over the 6 “Defectors.” These wards would protect the brothers from any influence, and steel their minds against the chaplains. But the Son entrusted to protect Salvat mispronounced a word, and completely nullified the ward.
__The brothers entered battle, and “defected” to the other side. But when the marines were then ordered to fire upon the former brothers, the plague marines could not. They were taken to the Relusiam, and when told to deface their armor, the Emperor's Children faltered. But the two loyal to Korne pressed on. Eventually, they became trusted brothers, and that's when the ward's fault trully surfaced. Brother Salvat hadn't pretended to reform, he did reform.
__The former korne worshipers were training together when the chaplain Penita came in. Ingloran moved as if to strike the target, but sidestepped it and lunged at Penita. Salvat remembered the secret plan, realizing that it was wrong, he aimed at Ingloran. As Ingloran slashed, Salvat fired. When he came over to the collapsing Chaplain, he called for an apothecary. He had passed the final test.
__Salvat cared for Penita for several months before being called back into active duty. He returned to the battlefield with little bravado, but quickly regained his love for battle. His prowess, trained under the eyes of korne, returned, but without the bloodlust. He was free, and loved every moment of it. Due to his centuries of war, his skill was unparalleled. He quickly became captain, and led his soldiers to numerous victories.
__Then, without notice, in the middle of a battle, his mentor appeared. He realized his place, to serve an eternal war at the side of his master and savior. To this day, they fight for the glory of the emperor, and cannot be stopped from cleansing the unworthy.

--Purified Chaos Power armour: This armour invokes hatred in all marines who see it. This gives any space marine and chaos space marine armies preferred enemy against Brother Salvat.
--Chainsword of hate: it is a chainsword that re-rolls failed to-hit and to-wound rolls.
--Vengeance Boltgun: an ancient boltgun, it can fire as if the wielder had stood still during the movement phase and has the following profile:__24”__4__3__Rapid Fire
--Bound to my shepard: Brother Salvat is a part of The Blind One's squad, and cannot leave him. If The Blind One joins another squad, then Brother Salvat counts as being part of that squad.

Saved Brothers
__There are three rigorous trials before a former Chaos Marine can become one of the saved.
__The first trial is the Trial of Acceptance. In it, the chaos marines are ordered to assist the loyal marines in combat against their former brothers. This tests the marines loyalty.
__The second trial is the Trial of Defamation. At this point, the marines are required to re-paint their old armor, in the colors of the Northern Hammers, leaving one shoulder pad unpainted to show who they were saved from. This teaches release, so that they can give up the dark gods.
__The final trial is the Trial of Faith. When a marine passes both other trials, they must form a camaraderie with the members of their new squads. By saving a superior officers life, they are accepted into the chapter, as honorary brothers. Although their geene-seed will never pass on in the chapter, their sins against the emperor are forgiven, and they can wage eternal war in his grace.
__After the trials, using the aeons of war they have survived, they quickly advance in the chapter, until they have become respected leaders. They can never attain the rank of chapter master, but they instead become a new kind of marine. They are free soldiers, wandering the battlefield alone, or coming to provide support for their brothers.

Lost Brothers
__There are always those that cannot bring themselves to disgrace their dark gods. Those that fail the trials are sent away, pent up into cages.
__Deep within the Reclusiam, there is a location that is cut off from the warp. They throw those who cannot adapt to the codex into this area, where they are cut off from their dark gods. Eventually, they loose their minds and their faith, and at the same point, the dark gods disown them. In their despair, they call for mercy.
__The Call is answered by the holders, a group of technomagos dedicated to the mental imprisoning of the minds. They turn the insane into bestial servitors, and then lead them into battle. Those that are turned do not loose their armor, but usually fuse to it. This in turn weakens the armor, and makes it more like an extension of the brother
__Unlike many servitors, these lost brothers are kept in a mainly bestial state, unable to attack their new brothers by complex circuitry, but are left to attack all others in the surrounding area. This bestial nature lends an unknown strength, making the brothers stronger and tougher. Also, lost brothers are plentiful, and as such, they are usually sent into dangerous situations to tie up the enemy in close combat.

I'm gonna be honest. The fluff doesn't male much sense...

There's no way any chapter of marines would be allowed to have former chaos worshipers in their midsts. They'd be immediately branded as heretics themselves and purged from existence...

Just saying...

._.;;

Other than that I like it?

Also, "Pleasure Cannon" just sounds weird... No offense.

I understand, But the Idea is that this is a slightly more "Radical" chapter, and the rehabilitation seemed sound enough, since those that couldn't handle the pressure are turned into mindless automotons.

As for "Pleasure Cannon," I don't own a copy of the CSM codex, And I was pulling a blank on the Slaanesh-Marines.

If I'm not mistaken, is it Noise Marine? And what is that cannon they have? I seem to forget. But that was what I was trying to aim for.

I don't think that distinguishing them by former god makes much sense. In the case of Khorne, Slaanesh or Tzeench marines, they'd probably have the effects of god worship forcibly removed from their brains; in the case of Nurgle worshippers, if they're diseased/mutated enough to be incurable, they'd probably just be shot.

@ XVII Legionaire:
That's what I thought it was. Thank you.

@ Vampirate of Saratosa:
I can see your logic, but the Idea is that these marines remember that they once served fell powers, and so they are punished by not being able to completely remove themselves from the past, so as to never forget. Plus, If I am not mistaken, each chaos god chooses their own according to skills and talents that each one possesses, like korne accepting those who love battle, while Tzeench'es own are psykers. Just because they defected doesn't mean that those traits are lost. If you move to another country, it doesn't mean that you are a new person.

When you your brain and mind are altered by godlike powers, when you have been exposed to the warp for so long, and when you have such a strong hatred of the iom, whose destruction has become your one fixation, i would say it's a tad different then "changing country". Its closer to "brain/personality" transplant.

I don't like this idea, it's just not fluffy no matter how you dress it.

That aside even if they could redeem themselves they would have to cleanse themselves of the old sins, not keep part of them. You don't want a super human in power armour suddenly remembering how fine and dandy it was on the other side because some god started using that little foothold to sway him back into his service.

I'm not big on the fluff explanation of "well yeah he has forbidden powers, but he's a really cool guy, so he can still use them" essentially.

Yes, pleasure loving marines is pretty close to the edge and so is . A rotting, diseased marine is even more unfluffy. He would be shot as mentioned above.

Last of all, the person's coment above.

Mutated Chosen Chaos Marine

A couple of things here:
-the idea of a Khorne worshipper allowing a Sorceror to cast a spell on him willingly for any reason whatsoever is a bit ridiculous considering their god hates and nullifies magic.

-defacing their armour isn't that big a deal to the Emperor's Children. They wear the aquila as a big middle finger to the Imperials and dress it up with leather and... other stuff.

-switching sides isn't as easy as it is in reverse (Imperial to Chaos). Most worshippers get some form of mutation, which is heresy and must be purged. They would also have pretty detailed knowledge of Chaos, which is heresy and must be purged. Members of the nine legions in particular have been in the service of the gods for millenia, there's not really any going back for them. Using weapons designed by the Chaos side like the Noise Marine weaponry would be heresy as well.

Arguing with some people is like playing chess with a pigeon. You can play the best chess in the world, but at the end of the day the pigeon will still knock all the pieces off the board and then gak all over it.

The only way this makes sense is if they are a sort of legion of the damned variation which shows up when all seems lost, turns the tide, then disappears before Imperial forces have a chance to ask them more probing questions like 'WTF are you doing with a traitor painted shoulder pad!?!?!'.

The fluff for this only works if you do something like pk1 describes, or go the Soul Drinkers route. Either way the Imperium is not going to be happy with the individuals in question and will destroy them if it has the chance.
