err two things, first im getting 100 purifiers to go with crows formation it says they cant have dedicated transports but can they still enter play in them? second, since crow is not a IC he can not go with a team, but how does that work in a formation for instance can i have 20 purifiers in a thunder hawk and crow or does crow have to go in his own transport? thanks

Where are you getting these GK formations? I have never heard of these.

Also, punctuation, capitalization and grammar are your friends.

I think they can still get into transports. Just not dedicated transports

Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios

I havn't seen the formation rules but unless it specifically says they may not purchase and start in their DTs then they can purchase Rhinos or Razorbacks as normal.

and any unit can start in a transport that isn't dedicated. A Thunderhawk, as its a super heavy transport, can carry multiple units so Crowe and a bunch of Purifiers can hitch a ride.

It says that they can not split into combat squads or take a dedicated transport, thats all it says so does that means they can go in hawks, ravens, raiders but not rhinos, razorbacks or not? also thanks for the help

Well, I recently battled a Crowe wing army with 30 Purifiers, 2 Dreadknights, and Grand Master (with orbital strike) with my mech Eldar force. At the very end of the game, 8 Purifiers were left, the rest of the GK army dead and gone.

Well yea defensively they're just like any other regular tac marine, assault marine, etc. lol

In regards to the formation; if it says you can not purchase dedicated transports you can't buy them. As per the 5th edition rules you can always get a ride in another units dedicated transport (in this case probably a rhino or razorback from a strike squad) with one of your squads. You just can't start the game in one, similar to a Stormraven or a heavy support choice Land Raider.

Crowe can't join another unit as he is not an independent character, nor can he be joined by an independent character, but he can always ride in a vehicle as long as its just him (Not including super-heavy vehicles like a baneblade or thunderhawk, in which case multiple units can hitch a ride.)

Cheap transports and a Librarian granting +1 to each cover save can be a vast improvement.

Yea it can but that's a different issue. This was just talking power armor walking.
