Just finished working on Sicarius. I love the model, but thought his regular sword looks too wimpy so I gave him a halberd instead. (Also makes it easy to run him as vulkan ) I used the http://sigur.tabletopgeeks.com/all-new-step-by-step-painting-guide/ guide for painting the model. I really like how everything turned out. The non metallic metal on the banner came out better than expected, as well as the halberd conversion.
Threw in some other guys I just finished as well. First of my 4 man plasma command squad as well as some sergeants.

How did you do the halberd? I thought the sword looks lame too. Only thing is that one of Sicarius' waegear is the special sword

The halberd is from a grey knight box. Dont know which one since I bought them off ebay. Originally they were for a librarian, but Im still waiting to get that model.
It wasnt to hard to add it to sicarius, just cut the bit between the hand and the arm off the sicairus sword hand and glued to the haldberd hand. Also had to shorten the pole so if would fit.

Hopefully I can get some better pictures as those are from my phone. :O
