Hi Dakka, my friend wants to ebay this miniature but I want to make sure we don't get low balled.
So here I am requesting a price estimate to what people would pay, or if even possible would anyone be interested purchasing for themselves.
Of course I get a small chunk of profit ( if any was made ) So yes help us with your wisdom please!

I know the model is fully pinned so its really sturdy.

Picture is a bit big so in spoiler tags.

Spoiler:

Thank you all for your time and assistance!

You rather look at phone than the fine train scenery?

Forgeworld almost always goes for just about retail on ebay, sometimes more.

Painted can lower the value, but I don't think it will in this case.

I would see this going for above FW retail. My estimate would be between 150-200 USD.

I highly recommend running the auction for the full 10 days and make sure it ends on a Sunday.

IMO you won't do to bad selling this.

It's a fairly basic paintscheme (I would charge in the region of £70 for the work). Well assembled. Nice weathering. Pigments are nice.

Should get retail + £70 ish. I think perhaps you could neaten the yellow / black stripes though and weather them in a bit more.

Is it actually painted or are those just pictures from somewhere?

It is actually painted, those are the pictures they sent to put up here.

I agree with Winterdyne. Retail plus about $100ish sounds about right. It's a good paintjob, but I second the thoughts on the yellow lines.

My question mostly is: why are you selling it? Have you moved on from the army? did you buy it to paint and resell? Did you steal it and are trying to make a quick buck?

Your motive for selling it will determine what you think is an acceptable price for it, provided you are reasonable(some people on ebay are not).

Im confused, since when do buyers actually know why people are selling it for >.<? minus charity sale of course.

I mean that since he's asking us here on dakka for pricing advice, it would help to know how attached he is to it. If he thinks it's a $300 paintjob, then he is quite attached to it and won't likely sell it for less than that. If he's just trying to get rid of it quick, then we can say to sell it fast for retail.

New one can be found for $45. Tabletop standard is -30%. I'd pay $30 for it.

I would agree with you lewis, between 100$ and 200$ I would put a buy it now for $175.

Nothing. Tell them it is graced with air from your lungs and it is well worth the price.

since when does tabletop standard go for the same as NiB? It is well painted and is vague enough to fit in any ork army. Some people are just cheap I suppose. And clearly the auction wouldn't be marketed towards those who prefer to paint it themselves.

Well retail is about 64 GBP. The paintjob is not great. I can't see it going much above 50 GBP.
