You can all thank (or hate) me for getting games workshop to release an official Tervigon model. They obviously did so because I finally got around to cutting apart my Carnifexes and building them up. Come to think of it, that's exactly what they did when I put together my Carnifex-to-Trygon Conversion. Those bastards!

Here are my models pre-sculpt. Sorry for the 1 megapixel camera pics but you get the general idea.

From the look of the pictures of the official model, the mini-hierophant theme was drawn on by GW as well... I'm not sure if I really like the "saggy sack with termigants walking out the front though." I'll revive this thread in another few weeks when the sculpting wraps up. Till then, any CC always appreciated. Does anyone know the size of the Tervigon's base? I was thinking 5" round... too big? too small?

First one mostly fleshed out.

Can't believe no one has said how great this is yet!!
Really imaginative conversion, I prefer it to the actual GW model (Which I don't like very much)
The only criticism I have, of that first one you've fleshed out, is the head is very low and seemingly looking down, which is just a bit impractical, how will he be able to see his little termagants scampering off infront of him

The head is actually at normal Carnifex level but now that you mention it, it does look like it's looking down. I'll change the angle when I fill out the torso. Also looking at the pictures I think the spine bank seems weird at its current angle... Thanks for the feedback!
