Sorry for the long post. These are my first 5 models. I just started the hobby 3 weeks ago. Please let me know how I can improve my painting.

Sorry for the last image.

Ouch, my head hurts with those colors.

Looks pretty good other then your color choice, but it is your color choice. Could use some highlights. There are also mold line issues.

Very good start though.

Well that is the point. They are a flamboyant army.

How can I get rid of the fine mold lines? I have not been able to find a file small enough to get between the arms.

Outside the DarkTower, amongst the roses.

I cant say that I've seen orks this crazy before, welcome to the addiction.

Every Dakkanaught gets a 4+ Pinch of Salt save.
When you suffer a Falling Sky hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ the hit is ignored as per the Pinch of Salt save. On a 1-3 panic insues - you automatically fail common sense tests for the next 2 weeks and get +7 to your negativity stat. -Praxiss

those orks looking really good but you could try to photograph them with not that much light focusing the mini.
it kind of disdurbes the colours i guess.

I think you need a Transvestite type Ork in there, or maybe in Drag as Orks are neither Male or Female. One with Daisy Duke Pants and a Bikini with a big choppa.

EDIT that was an ill considered phrase.

Collecting Forge World 30k????? If you prefix any Thread Subject line on 30k or Pre-heresy or Horus Heresy with [30K] we can convince LEGO and the Admin team to create a 30K mini board if we can show there is enough interest!

Somewhere in south-central England.

A wash will give shading quickly and easily.

I use Army Painter Quickshade.

Lots of people use Deneb Brown from GW.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

The gain on the camera is really high. Therefore you cannot see that I have coated them in two coats of wash.
In real life they have highlights and shadowing.

You want a set of these:

The picture doesn't show it, but these are really, really small and will fit virtually anywhere. Also, since they're diamond surfaced, they will file really fast, even on metal.

Hattersheim, Germany

Give them a coat of Matte Varnish, before you take the pictures. This takes away all glossiness and you can get some good shoots, with none of the details obscured by glare.

Cheers,
