Hey guys! Recently bought a new camera, so I thought I'd take some snaps of my WIP Grey Knights army to try it out:



Kaldor Draigo. I only noticed I should have probably removed the layer of dust untill after I uploaded the picture.



Coteaz



Brother-Librarian Castiel. Made from the plastic terminator box.



Grand Master Alaric. Also made from the plastic terminator box. His left arm is magnatised to swap weapons.



Vindicare Assassin on his perch.



Ordo Malleus Inquisitor.



Paladin/Terminator with Brotherhood Banner.



Strike/Interceptor squad. All the backpacks are magnatised to swap between the Interceptor and the regular backpacks.



Every model has a unique name and heraldry. Still plan to do some tranfers once I get my hand on some GK ones.



Brother Daes, entombed in his Dreadnought. Here with quad-autocannon loadout.



And here again, with plasma cannon and dccw, in his 'to be or not to be'-pose.

Pretty good. I would wash the metal though. But a very good and detailed job of it!

The metal is washed actually. But let's just say my metalic layering isn't very good and let's keep it at that.

Some very nice detail work!

Could look good, but with images this MASSIVE it's actually quite difficult to see them properly. I can't even fit one whole model on my screen!!

You have a point. Updated the first post with smaller thumbnails that link to the larger image for people with smaller screens.

Teach me your blending kind sir, never have i seen it look so amazing!
I've been trying to blend for the last 3 months and lets just say i always go back to painting the blade one color in the end due to how horrible it turns out.

Thanks! I actually had the same problem, I never ended up with a result I was fully satisfied with, so in the end I bought an airbrush, some Vallejo airbrush paints and some masking tape to do it. After 2-3 testsruns I got the above result, and I can do a full squad's weapons in about an hour, with most of the time going into putting on the masking tape. That was well worth the investment, to be sure.

In the spirit of Easter, I also wanted to paint something. I couldn't find any eggs as some stupid rabbit hid them all, so I painted up this Dreadknight instead:

Damn that dreadknight looks amazing! As well as all of your other models, very clean looking.

That is an amazing dreadknight!! Very clean, and his pose reminds me of a Clint Eastwood movie staredown. "Feeling lucky?"

Holy shiz that landraider is amazing, the LEDs look brilliant - love the dreadknight too and the way you paint the silver armour. Oh yeah, and your power swords are superb too. Thanks for sharing

Jeeez, the heraldry on that land raider is crisp and clean as you like. Are there stencils or transfers involved, or are you just that good?

The red and white stripes are simply done with some masking tape and an airbrush. The swords are transfers from the Forge World Vraks Space Marine Transfer Sheet.
