A better casting.

What happened to her face? You can get away with some lack of details on a arm or leg but on the face? I think you need to review that sculpt mate.

Not sure, that cast I inked was actually pretty poor, a better indication of the casting is that later photo I just posted.

I guess you don't have a licence to do Chell from Portal since it's called rogue scientist. Please do original stuff instead of copying other peoples stuff.

Love the idea, too bad about the face. I already have a The Question miniature.

Lots and lots and LOTS of companies do "off-brand" copies of characters in popular culture, are you going to berate Heresy and hasslefree and games workshop for the same thing?

As for the sculpt, it's not terrible, detail on the clothing and the gun look ok, it's just let down by the head/face. Not worth £6 at all

Also £6 for a mini with no base? Not a chance in hell, buy up a ton of cheap slottabases and put one with each mini

I don't mind the homage to Portal (I don't imagine there is a licensed provider anyway) but why not show your green original to garner interest while you sort out your production side.

As it stands £6 for a model without a face and scant detail is taking the piss a little.

It looks much better in person... but doesn't have the same kind of over-large head as a GW model so there's only so much detail you can get on there I think.

Ok then my next 30mm model will be an original, just for Agamemnon2.

That head does not appear to be coming out right at all. Maybe you should have thought about that before you decided to see if people would pay $10 for a miniature with no face.

If you intend to sell these models, then you need to be a lot more professional than that, my friend.

It is a good first attempt, but I think you should work on your mold a litle more. The whole thing looks a bit rough. Don't give up though you ar3e headed the right dirrection. Also knock offs of reconizable figures make up a good majority of count as used in the more popular games. So don't worry about what the negative coment you got about it, but be carful with copyrights.

Homages are cool, knockoffs are pathetic. That includes Hasslefree, Heresy etc.

Yup that's me.

I dont think its crap as you said, It is much better than I could sculpt, or better than the majority of the people giving you a hard time could do. I just think that you may have jumped the gun in releasing this for sale. Work on the issues with the face, get it right, and then you might have something people will have interest in.

That seems to be the problem. The mold line is going across the face itself, so the mold faces will meet there. All definition on the face would be lost.
