Hello,
Has anyone ever tried using old style SW long fang bodies with newer heavy weapons?
I have a bunch which I love to convert since I like the bodies but not a big fan of the older style weapons.
Thanks,
Ray

well, the new heavy weapons do fit onto the models but you would have to convert the weapons themselves because it looks ridiculous due to the static pose of the long fangs

Not only this but.the older torsos possess narrower shoulders.

Some mod work required.

Most of my Long Fangs are 2nd ed torsos with current ed missile launchers.

I actually like the older weapons. They look nice and antiquated

I'm sure with a little GS you can make it work. Might have to switch up the pose a little.

I converted a plastic missile launcher onto a metal Devastator body, and the folks are right, the torso sizes don't match terribly well. I also had to get rid of the sighting system of the launcher, no biggie since the old Devs have eyepieces that look largely the same. And lastly, I had to saw the launcher arm at the shoulder to adjust the angle so the Marine is firing in the direction he's looking at (since I did not repose the head).

The supply does not get to make the demands.
