Well I figured to try this system out for some RPing. If anyone has heard of World of Darkness then you will now what kind of game this is. WOD is a horror investigation series that has branches in vampires, monster hunting, promethians, changlings, werewolves, ect. I will only have one player for this RP for the main reason for this will be chalk full of details and intense playing that won't commingle with another player that will divert my attention. For this game you will be playing as a mortal aka normal human.

Story: All you need to know so far is you are visiting a wealthy man at his home to meet his child to see if the two of you shall be betrothed. The year is 1869 in Russia near the border of Austria and Germany.

Gameplay: I will use the Pan section mainly since it will give the game a sense challenge. For every point you place in a stat i will allow a re-roll for the challenge it applies to ,for every challenge you don't have a stat to apply to you get only one roll. The game can be lethal at times but don't worry as there are two kinds of damage. Bashing and lethal. You are "killed" with bashing then you are simply knocked out as lethal is well lethal. Also Vice and Virtues apply to the re-roll if they apply. Willpower is also a re-roll applicant as well.

Character sheet
This is the Core book. Use this for Merits, Virtue and Vice. http://www.mediafire.com/?monfnvbklzm
here is the chracter sheet http://mrgone.rocksolidshells.com/ all the rules on making the sheet are at the bottom of the sheet. Go to Nwod then Nwod again. then sheet 1.

Just the attributes and their current rank and all the skills you ranked up, Merits, and the vice and virtues. Health and willpower as well.

Just thought I should note, although I commend you for giving the WoD a go, I'd suggest you take to heart the fact its a Pg-13 board.

WoD games can quickly escalate if you're not careful.

Probably why if I ever did a Werewolf the Apocalypse one, I'd be looking to run it in the DCM section.

Good luck however.

Thanks. A couple of WoD vets are playing on a different site. I'm hoping the system i made works out for RPs then we can use it for more then WoD.

hmm...MDS has a point. you could try running it in the basement, you know the only time someone was reprimanded for an 'intimate' scene was because they wrote out the entire experience and made us all feel really creeped out...

and the amount of gore that tends to be described is obscene.

In any case, I can't say I know a ton about WoD so I wont be entering.
