Does anyone know if the WN Griffin product will work? It's a weird resin/oil hyrbid of some kind that can still mix with solvents. It says that it has a quicker dry time and that is what I am looking for. I just am wondering if there will be any drawbacks to using it. What do you (pin washers) use?

Thanks

~Casey

I'd stick with traditional oils. Oil washing relies on the gloss coat being acrylic so the thinner doesn't attack it when doing cleanup.

Attempting to rush it is most likely a Bad Idea.

You can speed up the drying time if you need to though. Once you have done your work with oils, hit the model with a layer of a lacquer based clear coat, I prefer Testors Dull Coat. Then once the coat is dry,about10 to 15min, you are free to move on to the other layers.
