Will Matt Ward's fluff/lore/codices/stuff end up declared noncanon like C.S Goto's? I mean, he contradicts so much stuff and the fandom absolutely abhors him. In the future, might GW say, "Eh, that's not canon" like they did with Goto?

I hope they do: chances are that they won't as it doesn't completely fly in the face of all previously known fluff: ie he hasn't written about back-flipping termies and tramsforming SM vehicles, yet

The difference is C.S. Goto is a Black Library author, they are on the edge of canon to begin with and can be push away without massively effecting the fluff. Matt Ward, for good or for ill, is a codex writer, and codexes are the core of the fluff, and is what everything else is based upon.

Meh, I just tweak it a bit in my head anyway. It's a made up story about the year 40,000, I don't know that it should be taken seriously enough to worry about what's considered cannon. To be fair though, I think the best part of 40k is all the fluff behind it. I really don't appreciate ward being allowed to write such garbage that is so far beneath gw's normal standard.

The question isn't prohibited per se, however, there are plenty Ward fan threads already running around. I suggest you post in one of those, I am afraid this thread will probably just result in aggression in the long-run.
