In my sprue the pistol has a hand but no arm and all the other arms have hands how should I put it on one of them? Also it came with swords that I guess are power swords but no hands for them.

You need to cut a normal pistol arm off at the wrist and add on the plasma pistol with a hand.
It was a weird way of doing it, but thats just GW.

Also, those sheathed swords are just normal swords, so dont have any hands on them.
More really to look good than to have a use.
