I'm trying to decide whether to stick more Dreadnaughts in my SM list. In. 1K point list I have three, two with 2 TL Autocans and one with TL-LC and an ML. I'm also considering taking a Master of the Forge for the extra HS slot dreads, although I'm unsure if that many dreads would be a good idea. In my 2k point list I also have a LRC, so I'd have a total of 6 Dreads in my 1500 point list and 5 in my 2000. At the moment, I'm playing against DE and a dark lance spam (it's the only way my friend can reliably take out my necrons), and I will soon be playing against another friend and his tau (and his Hammerhead, as he likes reminding me). I'm planning on dropping one in first turn in one of them snazzy drop pods, if that helps anything.

How about an Assault Cannon? Or would a MM+DCCW w/ HF be superior?
