My FLGS is hosting an interesting April Fools day tournament. while i am unable to attend due to familial obligations, i was wondering what Dakka thinks of the lists i am about to propose, given the following parameters.

1: 1000 points
2: standard FOC
3: Proxies are HEAVILY encouraged (although confusing proxies are still disallowed)
4: lists will be randomized amongst all participating players IE: you might not use the list you brought
5: Make the most hilariously Underpowered list you can while still filling a full 995-1000 points

the 4 lists running through my mind are:

List 1: Character Spam
HQ: Dok Grotsnik
Elites: 5 Kommandoz led by Snikrot
troops: 10 grots+runtheard cyborked
10 grots+runtheard cyborked
FA: 5 stormboyz led by Zagstruk
HS: 5 flash gitz, Shootier more dakka blasta led by Badrukk

Note, the units of grots have cybork due to grotsnik's rule.

list 2: 2 SAG meks, 2 Dreads with 4CCW and 9 Zooka kans. all dreads and kans have Armor plates and grot riggers.

List 3:
Dok grotsnik, 2 units of 30 grots each( cyborked), and 4 nob bikers with Painboy, 1 of each CCW option, WAAAGH banner, and 3 TLS.
Note, the bikers DO NOT HAVE CYBORK

List 4:
Dok grotsnik, 3 units of Cyber grots (2 full and one unit of 28)

If you were to attend, which list would you bring? remember there is a better chance that you will see this list on the other side of the table than on your own.

I really want to make a Tau list for this.
All suits with BSF, Advanced Stabilization Systems, and Targetting Arrays.
An Ethereal.
The rest would be Kroot and Firewarriors with every upgrade available.

I dare you to try and make a worse list!

I'm expecting an Imperial Knights supplement dedicated to GW's loyalist apologetics. Codex: White Knights "In the grim dark future, everything is fine."

"The argument is that we have to do this or we will, bit by bit,
lose everything that we hold dear, everything that keeps the business going. Our crops will wither, our children will die piteous
deaths and the sun will be swept from the sky."

CSM would work well too, with tons of Summoned Lesser Daemons (as in, 70%+ of the army wouldn't even make it onto the table).

As for the OP, I would suggest taking 2 Weirdboys - no Warphead upgrades. 2 minimum sized Grot units for troops. Then max out on Flash gitz. If it has to be one of your lists, I'd definitely go with list 4.

I would go for the 2nd list competitively and for fun use the 3rd list.

Oh, a quick update. Feel free to create your own lists and post them here.

also, i have confirmation that one of the lists being brought by our resident space puppy is... Fenrisian wolf spam, via the character who makes wolf-pack's a troop.

Demons of Chaos:
2 Nurgle herald - with nothing
4 units of 7 nurgling bases
2 units of 10 fuies
1 demon prince - with nothing

The list is slow, can't score, can't shoot, and sucks in CC.

Cause the chicks dig it...
2000 (RT era Thousand Sons), 2000 (Undivided), 3000 (demons)
2500 (Skaven), 3000! (Chaos Dwarf), 2500 (Warriors of Chaos)
(RT era World Eaters WIP)

How bout foot guard... 6 platoons is 780 points, then take 2 CCS and use your spare points on more guardsmen. Literally the only weapons in the army are lasguns, laspistols, and close combat weapons.. and about 160 guardsmen

Imperial Guard 61st Regiment, Confederated Systems of Acirema- 4,000 pts
Space Wolves - 3,000 pts
Craftworld Lugganath - WIP

Corrupted Lizardmen - 2500 pts

Due to a change in plans, i was able to participate in the game. I lost both games i played, but the first was much better than the second.

My list, however, won 2 games, and nearly took the 3rd. and for those who wondered, it was the cybergrot spam list.

my first game was using a Guard army, with chenkov, 2 50 man conscript squads, and the strongest weapon in the army being a bolt pistol, 2 lord commisars, 2 PCS, and 2 small blobs. against 5 melee-fexes, 1 tyranid prime, and 2 ripper swarms. we tied on primary objective, and she took the secondary. we had a great laugh around turn 4 when she was told that swarms cant hold objectives.

my next game was as Space wolves, against Chaos Orks (a list comprised of everything in the ork codex with an unavoidable random component)
2 turns, and i was tabled. I had to forfeit my last game, as i needed to leave early.

now, the grot-spam's victories were against the Chaos orks, and a greyknights template spam list. and by template spam i mean orbital bombardments, psyker unit with a power that nukes them if they get perils, and nothing else. dont remember what they lost to, probably the other Grey knight list with its monkey spam.

The list that won the "most ed up list" was the guard army i played first round
