I highly enjoy technology, and I had the idea that I'd make this thread where you put up your own 40k technology.
Stats optional, but not required, and sometimes not recommended.

Example:

MK III "Daemon Fang" torpedo

The "Daemon Fang" is a torpedo specifically designed to penetrate the close-in defenses of medium to large Imperial ships. Upon reaching a certain distance from the target, the torpedo disgorges a carpet of smaller missiles. These missiles are spread out, making it even harder for the target's defenses to stop them. Once it hits the target, the missiles blow away the outer layer of the ship over a large area, deactivating a large part of its hull. Multiple barrages with this torpedo can "flay" a ship, dramatically reducing its power.

Currently ongoing projects:

I would actually see if you can try a thread like this in Dakka Discussion or Proposed 40k Rules.

The addition of stats may actually generate more interest!

I just did something like this for my space marine captain model.

Sentinel's gauntlets.
This weapon is similar in design to lightning claws, but much more dynamic. The gauntlets consist of a power fist frame which has a power shield plate built on top, with a retractable blade sheathed underneath. this weapon allows for both a defensive and offensive use, acting as guard and weapon. A wearer who wields a pare of sentinel gauntlets, is near invulnerable to most direct attacks.

A single gauntlet gives a model a power weapon and invulnerable save in close combat. A pair of gauntlets allow an invulnerable save both in and outside of close combat, and allows re roles when rolling to hit.

here's a picture.

They get by on what they can salvage and weld back together...
Though if anything strikes me i'll post it.

The need to salvage technology could lead to new hybrid weapons, or a technology meant for one situation is applied to another.

Limpet craft which latch onto the side of ships unnoticed. They contain a single warrior and a lot of cutting tools. The warrior gets into the ship as the hull is cut and then the craft blasts away, causing massive decompression and damage.

The Cowboyfex; a creation of the Ork Gruzgob who managed to capture a Carnifex of Hive Fleet Medusa in one of their major battles. Seeing it was blue, he spared it and called it "Fluffy the Wonder Horse" but was quickly renamed after it swallowed 3 Nobs whole in one battle. He strapped a saddle onto his back and painted flames on him; unfortunately, Fluffy lost an arm, which was quickly replaced with a "Uber Mega Giga Shoota" by the Meks. During the operation, one of the Meks lopped off another arm, which was replaced with a Buzzsaw. By the end, Fluffy was plastered with various bioniks and lucky charms.

The Cowboyfex is a counts as Deff Dread.

DON'T STEAL HIM FROM ME!

The flenser. A unique, one-off creation by the dark mechanicus made by their finest craftisans and gifted to the leader of the chimeric host. It is a long, barbed glaive with the trapped souls of a daemon of every God. It is very powerful.

This is a signature. It contains words of an important or meaningful nature.

I sort of have a commissar who uses a sort of perdition-pistol much like Dante. Though due to him being a natural with it the gun is better and faster firing. Of course if the guy were to be added I would suggest: For the Meltagun: S 8 AP: 1 A: 2 Rng 18".

Roll a d6. 1-3, increased range by 6", 4-6 add another attack with meltaguns (the pistol is excluded). Point-cost? No idea. Though I would suggest taking the Lord-Commissar profile, add carapace armour, power sword, frag grenades, Rosarius and camo-cloak.

Just a suggestion, please don't butcher me. Also if you want some real fun, add the Plasma Hates the guy rule. 1-3 and take the damn armour save. 4-6, shoot normally. Within 36" of the guy. Even Eldar and Tau have problems with their plasma around him, 1 on a d6 and they must take an armour save.

If you have nothing nice to say then say frakking nothing.

Well i had an idea that in my Ork fluff, warboss skargutts come from the future by using the warp drive in a ship no bigger than a thunder hawk. It made them travel back into the past as the orks want to go to a huge fight much like the 3rd war of Armageddon but as Gork and Mork looked upon the warboss (well that's his explanation ) they sent them back to the Time of the 3rd war . My Ork fluffs not done yet so what do people think of it?

Plus it's fairly credible that a GW marketing campaign for their biggest release would fit on one side of A4 - Flashman

Imagine a Dark Eldar "Grand Raider" - a huge ship used to swoop down on a planets inhabitants and capture as many slaves as quickly as possible.

I can totally see that having underslung capture cages, that just fire out at high velocity and retract with as many prisoners as they can get! Basically a long ranged power weapon of some sort

Mark X - Angelicius Pattern -

Improving on the original Design of the Corvus and the Aquallia Pattern, the corvus helmet design and the Aquallia allow for breathing under certain conditions and ideal for Desert and Urban Warfare. The extra plates on right shoulder and the smaller built makes it only ideal for chapters that are used to these climates. The armor has several weak points including the exposed neck, and the exposed underside of the torso it is not unusual for those equiped in the armor to be ranged specialist. Angelicius pattern also incorporates features from Tactical Dreadnought Armor Including squad status, and a more advanced suit to regulate body temperatures in extreme hazardous temperatures or in extreme vacuum zones.
*notice how the beak is basically shaved off, I plan on adding this to all the beakies of my army, considering, they all would have this. All important characters have this too
