Nevermind the list, if you are having problems on the table what are they?

Is Reznk dying, are the troops getting whipped out, are you unable to prevent opponents from collecting Control Points . . . essentially what is the final issue that deals the loss?

You may want to re-examine your jack loadout. I won't say what you have now is especially bad or unworkable, but I always see Reznik as more of a jack caster that uses iron aggression and perdition to set up a win. You can certainly do that with your list but when you make him walk up to cast that offensive spell you're all-in. An arc node and and a heavy-hitter inside the battlegroup may be more fitting than an infantry-clearing castigator and the avatar, though I have never seen the avatar be bad.

If there is no real way to alter your list I think you need to play defensively with Reznik moving up field behind the bastions and the castigator out of harms way while the avatar goes in to gaze and disrupt their positioning. Once they get discombobulated by the movement restrictions have Reznik perdition something and set up a castigator attack on something juicy. Out-of-activation movement like that can easily lead to a charge lane on a careless caster or set up an advance and combustion where you may not have had range. If you trash each others' armies Reznik is a monster in combat and can stand toe to toe with almost anyone as long as he is not getting shot up. Bastions and the avatar hit hard and accurately enough to send most things back to the foam.

The other side of the internet

You have a VERY slow army that has nothing to force people to come to you. I'd say drop the current jacks, grab a crusader or two, get exemplar errants. I've tried to run a list similar to this, but your heavy infantry get mulched by faster weapon master infantry and you have nothing to bring them into your range. Basically I had to wait for my opponent to screw up big so I could get a caster kill with Reznik. Your list is very much designed around taking a hit, but warmachine doesn't work like that. Things are designed to kill.

Reznik is the only Menoth caster that doesn't like the Avatar too much. He also loves an arc node for Perdition trickery. I'd say drop Avatar and Castigator for a Guardian and a Templar or Reconker. I mostly use Errants and A couple paladins with Reznik and it seems to work pretty well. Rhupert or Saxon Orrik is also important for pathfinder. The latter is able to give a EOD'd Reznik pathfinder and that's close to broken in my opinion.
