I'm not a huge fan of CSM, but I've kind of always wanted an Iron Warriors force. Problem is, I've never seen the models outside of the GW website. Space Marines are bad arse enough as is, but CYBORG Space Marines is just the bee's knees. Anyway, has anyone ever actually SEEN an Iron Hands Army?

I did once see one at my FLGS. It was pretty awesome to be honest. The bionics made them stand out from the rest of the SM armies and the Iron Father looked like a badass techmarine/chaplain/force commander/terminator hybrid. He got destroyed by a Blood Angels player though. I was very sad.

I run one, with techpriest axes in the place of the top of my chaplin and librarians weapon, cybernetics on my sternguard, an omnission axe on my captain as a relic blade, and more stuff that I can't recall at this time.

Thunderfire cannons are amazing btw.

Sounds pretty sweet. DId you have to do a lot of converting to make them? How extensive were your conversions?

Destroyed as in losing combat or being shot to hell in game?

Or Destroyed as in actual physical destruction of the model?

Basically my conversions were:

changes to the thunder hammers with a blade to make them more power weapon than hammer, with the hammers from the iron hands tactical box
chopping off the tops of the librarians and chaplins weapons and pinning in techpriest axes
combining all the cybernetic bits to make a 10 man sternguard unit
putting an omnissian axe on a heavy kit bashed bike to make a captain on a bike with relic blade
another bike with a kit bashed techmarine bolter, lascannon parts and gauge wire to make a master of the forge with conversion beamer on a bike
finally no flesh is showing in the army, my scouts are using marine heads rather than normal ones

I also have forgeworld decals, though I wish I had more cybernetics, I didn't have the cash at the time.

:looks at title....looks at OP:

Are we talking Iron Hands or Warriors? One is Loyalist and the other Chaos.
