Why it needs the weird voice, I don't know. I'm not to big in fantasy, but I make it Bretonnia or Empire, since Empire are pretty core race in fantasy, although Bretonnia hasn't been updated in a while.
For many years we have defended our lands with steel and sinew, faith and fire. Those desecration we could not stop at our borders, we washed clean with the blood of our martyrs.
But we are not so many that we may barricade our lands with walls of flesh forever. Against the constant depredations of the Orcs, Skaven -- and worse, we could only buy time.
In our desperation, we cried out to Sigmar who, in his Glory, answered us wuth Great and Terrible gifts of Faith, Fire and Bestial Fury.
With these mighty weapons we will forge such shields that the Evil Without will never penetrate. Even the might waves of Chaos will break and retreat like the ebbing tide.
