I decided to start a web series on the hobby and its tools. In this series, I will be discussing various tools used by us, the hobbyist, about its functions, alternative tools, and where go purchase it. I do understand that this thread is not 100% related to painting and modeling but it is the tools that we use. So I decided to post this here because at least it's relevant.

Please let me know if this series is helpful by giving me some feedback.

Here is the link to the first episode

Thanks

Sorry for digging up an old thread but it beats making a new one and spamming the forums. I revived this series earlier this year (had to go away from the hobby for medical purposes, full explanation can be found here: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/439759.page

Free basing material anyone?

This kind of thing is useful for anybody entering our hobby.

Might I suggest you take a look at this Dakka article? I believe you'll find it quite useful, maybe even using it as reference for your videos and such (because it's such a big list):

Why is it that only those who have never fought in a battle are so eager to be in one?

Cool list indeed my friend. I will look through it in more detail when I have the time. Thanks for sharing me this.
