Subject: [Video] Power Cables: How to make them from scratch
I'd like to share my new video on making your own power cables for conversions. This is a simple alternative to using guitar wire and is much more flexible and easy to work with. Let me know what you think about the technique.

So i just tried a few with small paper clips and 26ga floral wire (all i had on hand, used for barbed wire). i am haveing troble getting the coil off the paperclip when done. so i left it on and just clipped the paper clip, this seems fine for relativly straight applications but a pain for bending. guess i need to practice and see if it gets better.
does the floral wire have a coating on it? I did have the same trouble with a wire with coating but i switched to a thin copper jewelry wire and it slides right off after that. If it is coated maybe try stripping the coating off it should come off fairly easy with an xacto knife. I also get confused by the gauges , is 26ga on the larger or smaller side of wire? I avoid wire that is too thick. Maybe also try to make the coil a little looser. it takes some practice to get it just right where it just slides off.

It is bare wire and very small, larger number means smaller ga. I might just be making it coil 2 tight so will work on it. It's still a great technique and there will be evidence of it I'm my blog soon.
I'm working on Iron Hands Morlock Terminators at the moment. The wire and cabling is great for Iron Hands Bionics. Your video has given me inspiration to add some extra pieces to the models. I will put up a link to it later so you can see how inspirational you've been.
I love your work, I truly do. Your conversions are superb, the GK's especially.
The Nemesis Dreadknight is possibly the best conversion I have ever seen (that is no lie, it is quite simply the best example of a conversion I have seen anywhere.
