I wanted to make a Kaldor Draigo model from the plastic GK terminator kit. Here's what I started with....

I just finished the rest of the conversion adding greenstuff and bitz and mounting him on a cork base. Made the Storm Shield from scratch too:

I'm still cleaning up mold lines and added a purity seal to the right leg.

That's one of the sword options in the GK Terminator box, it is not like the guy converted his Draigo to get an extral long one. It's a normal one.

See I worked out the GW sword conspiracy:
those gigantic swords are just for show. They have those to scare peoples, and then they pull out a tiny miniscule knife from their rear pocket which is actually what kills that marine not that impractical gigantic stupid giant sword taller than you.

Thanks, I did use press molds for the small crosses, the icon on the shield and the hanging bit from the chain on the waist. Its actually from the chest of one of the other terminators in the set.

Do you have any updates to this project? I just started a conversion of a terminator into a Draigo. I am def curious to see how it turn out.

The metal Draigo I have is just too small looking standing next to the plastic GK's.

So far I've just base coated him in silver model air . I've been sidelined with a few other things like converting SMS using the left over gk parts. Plan to update this soon .

Updated: FInshed Painting him up. I think the cloak abd tabbard came out good and I tried to make the gold pop. I gave him glowing blue eyes figuring he was supercharged with Psychic energy. I'm a little meh on the sword finish, still playing with some ideas on how to spiff it up a bit, the engergy crackles are a bit too subtle. The banne came out ok too I think.
