Just got a PS3 yesterday and Im wondering which games I should get for her. I'm an avid 360 fan though as I've been a member of the original Xbox live since its inception. (good ole mech assault lolz) But i mostly bought the PS3 for the Blu Ray and the idea of Steam coming to it eventually, Just letting people know I'm more interested in games on PS3 that A. either aren't on 360 and B. I missed playing on 360. So i'm a little more interested in the exclusives.

The games I have:
- Killzone 3
- Battlefield 1943

The games I'm currently thinking about:
- Littlebigplanet 3
- Drakes Uncharted Fortune (think thats right)
- Red Dead Redemption
- Fallout 3

I'm looking to get the most bang for my buck for the games I get on PS3. I'm interested in shooters and some RPGs. Any other suggestions?

Also, Valkyria Chronicles is a very good RPG/Tactical game.

Demon's Souls is an excellent RPG/Get used to dying game. Its sequel is not PS3 exclusive but is also amazing.

I have not really played many shooters recently, but inFamous is basically 3PS open-world RPG. The sequel is also good.

Uncharted are good fun - I never really got into the multiplayer, though I heard it is good.

And you did play Skyrim already, right?

It may be obvious, but if you get Fallout 3, get the GotY edition - it comes with most (all?) of the DLC, and there is a lot. Buying them separately costs the same as re-purchasing the game.

The Resistance series is good, i own all 3 and throughly enjoyed them.

Yea I know a few people that same thing happened to. Indeed, its a fantastic game, but like I said, we all wake up on some random Tuesday and think, Im not going to Skyrim today, and then its all over.
