Why not get a unit of halberd warriors with the flaming banner? The str 5 will do more damage and can wound the things with regen better.

That is a lot of knights.

personally I would break the unit up into two units but thats just me. Depending on their role, you may want to look at lances. It will make them devestating when they hit.

No never give knights lances!!!!!
They loose out on being str 5 all the time and are not magical and also cost more points. Lances are not worth it.
