So i have some cheap sable brushes. They have seen their use but they done keep shape anymore when in paint.
And my family though it would be great to use them for arts and crafts.
So im wondering what type to get. Im thinking of springing for good nice brushs. Who know where i can get some?

You can find some Raphael sable brushes at Secret Weapon Miniatures. Raphael brushes compared to W&N brushes have larger reservoirs. You can find Winsor & Newton brushes (Series 7, I think?) at any good art store like Utrecht. I never actually went to buy any of those kind of brushes somewhere like Michael's, so I'm not sure about that. Oh, and Rosemary & Co. I've heard are pretty good brushes at a better price compared to Winsor & Newton and supposedly have the same/near quality as W&N. I think I've heard Series 33 I suggest not getting store-branded sable brushes. I got Utrecht's, they suck.
For a review on Raphael and W&N, check out Secret Weapon's article.

Hard to go wrong with Dick Blick and here is an overview of the Higher end brushes including the W&N series 7. I have used the Escoda reserva and optima and they are great, the house brand ones are good too.
Go here for a good overview of all the ones Dick Blick carries. http://www.dickblick.com/kolinsky/sable/watercolorbrushes/details/
You can also get great prices on other inks, paints, mediums, etc while you are there.

Those are some expensive brushes. I was looking mor around the 30$ range rather then the normal 8$ range i usually get.

Series 33 Rosemary & co are probably the best bet if series 7s W&N seem like too much.
Not sure where the best place to get them in the US tho.

Not sure what you mean exactly. The W&N Series 7 in size 0 is $9.62 right now. That is dirt cheap for one of the best brands of brushes.

Btw, you probably wouldn't go above a size 3 W&N series 7, so your most expensive brush would only be $18.19. They last for ages with proper care too.

Ooh, I've got an Escoda laying around as well. They're pretty good too.
I find that a size 1 W&N is great for just about everything, even tiny details. If you keep it in good condition, the tip on it will last for a while.

If you were to get a W&N series 7 in size 0 and 1, you'd get about 80% or more of what you are painting more than likely. If you really want a 00 and use brushes that small, then go for one of those at some point too, but 0 and 1 will do you well for starters.

Just make sure you get small can of Master's brush cleaner and preserver, then clean and condition them properly and often. If you take care of those W&N brushes, they will last you a long time and keep a good point.

I tend to use my size 2 W&N the most.
I only have sizes 0,1,2 and 3, they do everything apart from drybrushing for me. The 0 only gets used for eyes really.
