Well, the great inquisitor Czevek spent a long time with some eldar and neither of them killed each other, and there have been some great eldar heroes (like Eldrad) that have fought on the same side as the IoM against worse foes (like demons and necron).

As far as if there are any large groups that are chummy with each other, I'd seriously doubt it.

As far as the imperium goes, "the enemy of my enemy is the enemy that I kill off after I'm done with my other enemy".

I'm kinda new to this universe. I read a lot of codex and some indicated that there are places where different races seem to live together, and bounty hunter is quite a popular career there among the exiles. I wonder if any Eldars dislike their way of living (exclude Dark Eldar) and went on and live with the xeno neighborhoods.

On planets not yet under the control of the Imperium, it is entirely possible that there are humans living with all kinds of alien species with relatively few problems.

Also, there are Exodite Eldar, which emigrated from the main civilizations of Eldar before the Fall. These Eldar are still pretty high tech but live off of the land and ride dinosaurs and other cool stuff like that. You can read about them here: http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Exodite#.T3u3vb-XS1Z

That being said, I'm sure there are other Eldar who go off to do their own thing. I'm sure some may settle down, a lot end up becoming pirates and mercenaries.

Xenophobia is the rule of the day. There is no mercy. No respite. Only an eternity of carnage and the laughter of the thirsting gods. etc.
While eldar and humans do occasionally ally, it's generally because they're both more afraid of chaos than of each other. Once the chaos threat is gone, they're right back to killing each other.

Thanks!

I also wonder will any human consider taking eldar as their mate? Vice versa.

Well, in a large galaxy like the 40k 'verse anything is possible... so, a Imperial Guardsman and a Eldar could fall in love. Doesn't mean the IoM or Eldar race as a whole would like it.

There are quite a few Pirate groups that contain a mix of Eldar and Humans.

Of course you also get the weirder, Ork, Kroot, And human with an eldar somewhere in there group as well.

It's unlikely. Many Eldar deem themselves superior to less advanced species'. It'd also likely fall into uncanny valley territory; Eldar look like Humans but they are different, in looks as well as actions. Most Humans would likely instinctively view them as, well, uncanny or unnatural. They also would not be able to have children without very advanced technology being used to somehow splice the DNA of the two.

Still, it is possible.

As the Doctor is fond of pointing out Eldar don't look vaguely Human, Human's look vaguely Eldar, they came first.

Humans live so slowly and so shortly feeling everything so dully that I can't see it personally. Outside the basic physical similarities in appearance they are so different as to be incompatible. The Eldar would also have to learn gothic as there is no living human who understands more than the tip of the Eldar language base.

And thats ignoring the social stigma where the IoM is "Purge the unclean Xenos" and the Eldar opinion that mankind are about as developed as we see chimps at best, cockroaches at worst.

Back in the Rogue Trader days then yeah, but recent fluff has moved the Eldar away from space Elf ninja's to being a very alien race indeed.

I should have left him there. He had served his purpose. He owed me nothing - yet he gave himself to me willingly. Why? I know not. He is nothing more than a pathetic human. An inferior race. A mon-keigh. But still I broke off my wings so that I might carry him easier. I took him from that place, into the snowstorm where our tracks will not be found. He is heavy. And he is dying. And he is slowing me down. But I will save him. Why? I know not. He is still warm. I can feel his blood ebbing across me. For every beat of his heart, another, slight spill of heat. The heat blows away on the winter wind. His blood is still warm. But fading. And I have spilled scarlet myself. The snow laps greedily at our footsteps and our lifeblood, covering them without a trace as we fade away.

'She sat on the corner, gulping the soup down, uncaring of the heat of it. They had grown more watery as of late she noted, but she wasn't about to beggar food from the Imperials or the "Bearers of the Word." Tau, despite their faults at least didn't have a kill policy for her race.'
