Hi all,
Well, after 10 years of the imperium, I've decided to stray into xenos territory in the name of the greater good.
I've also made the decision to do the entire army in digital camo, something I will no doubt regret as it takes an age to paint
So without further ado, here's some models (some are WIP, so please bear with me)

As always, all comments and criticisms are welcome

Very good digital work

Also, love the Enterprise at the bottom there

Great start! The digi-camo looks pretty sweet!

And LOL at the Enterprise. First thing I thought too, and solidified with SilverMK's comment.

Are you taping it up to get the digi-camo scheme? I applaud your patience! It is way harder than doing a simple airbrush scheme. You're pulling it off quite well too!

I originally tried taping, but it was fiddly and ended up disastrous, so I just free hand everything now.

Hi all here's some WIP images of the hammer head:

I think the trick to taping is to come up with tape 'templates'. I.E. pre-cut pieces of tape that you can reuse... the problem with this is that to be reusable would require the tape to be strong enough to last several uses which most likely means your would rip off the underlying layers... what a conundrum

Ok, finished the commander, I've just started to realize how long it takes to paint all these squares!

EDIT: Here's a picture of the finished and weathered Hammerhead as well

I envy your freehanding skills... envy leads to hate, hate leads to anger. Ergo, your awesome Digicamo angers me disproportionately.

The idea is that it takes extra effort and time to write properly, and they’d rather save the time. If you can still be understood, what’s the harm? While most of the time a sloppy post CAN be understood, the use of proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling is generally seen as respectable and desirable on most forums. It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. By making this effort, you can often elicit more positive responses from the community, and instantly mark yourself as someone worth talking to.
